The Acura NSX is a car of rare balance. It attracts a special kind of owner who appreciates its real-world manners in addition to its world-class performance. Owner of this special automobile deserve a car club sensitive to these special qualities.

The NSX Club of America was created by NSX owners for the benefits of NSX owners and enthusiasts. It serves to share out excitement and love of the NSX and foster a sense of community among NSX owners and enthusiasts by involving us in regional and national events and providing a common ground for communication.

Honda today unveiled the Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept, a preview of the design direction for the successor to the Acura NSX. The concept is designed to incorporate a powerful front-mounted, V-10 engine and a new high-performance, rear-wheel-drive based version of Acura’s ‘Super Handling All-Wheel Drive’.

Acura NSX — Interior

The objective was to create an interior that was the sports car equivalent of a jet fighter pilot’s helmet. The key elements of this concept were unlimited visibility, a feeling of snugness or intimacy with the interior of the vehicle, and the sense that the cockpit and driver were out in the airstream rather than enclosed and isolated from the environment. A low seating position contributes to a low center of gravity and helps to reduce the frontal area for improved aerodynamics. Ordinarily, a low hip-point would impart to the driver the feeling of being buried in the interior and create a claustrophobic feeling. To avoid this, the body engineers created a very low cowl section which allowed them to lower the height of the dash and instrument panel. The low cowl also enhances forward visibility.

What some observers considered to be Acura’s “Ferrari-fighter” went on sale in summer 1990, accompanied by considerable fanfare. Part of that fanfare had to do with price, because this new entrant from Honda’s luxury division was the most expensive Japanese-brand car on the U.S. market. Ann all-out mid engine sports car, the new NSX 2-passenger coupe had a body and suspension made of aluminum. Transversely mounted in the middle, between the seats and ahead of the rear axle, was an aluminum 3.0-liter V6 engine, with dual overhead cams and variable valve timing. All of the initial NSX coupes had 5-speed manual transmissions, and the V6 produced 270 horsepower. When a 4-speed automatic transmission arrived a few months later, the engine in that model dipped to 252 horsepower. Acura NSX seat belts comes with a pre-tensioning system that removes belt slack when an impact is detected, to help hold you securely in the seat.

2008 Acura NSX started out as an ideal, a radical reshaping of the exotic production car, driven by the passion of born drivers who happened to be fine engineers as well.

The Acura MDX was an entered respected in the segment of SUV of lust, offering the tons of features and excellent builds the quality for a reasonable price. The rivals like the BMW X5 and the M-Class of Mercedes Benz fired better of the MDX in the global service. 2007 Acura MDX is some miles before its predecessor; the enthusiasts will love it, and is nevertheless capable comfortably of to the manage both the children and the following grocery stores a long walk of weekend to Joe of Dealer.

If oil is the lifeblood of your car or truck engine, then fuel is the adrenaline. Whether you’re running a monster Holley four-barrel or electronic fuel injection, that shot of gas isn’t going to get to the cylinders unless the fuel pump is up to the job. Whether you need a Carter fuel pump, Holley fuel pump, Bosch fuel pump, or one of the hundreds of other applications we have, you can trust our premium-quality fuel pumps to deliver the performance your car is capable of. Remember, clean fuel is essential. Acura MDX fuel pump may need both a fuel filter and a fuel pump strainer. This is an essential step to keep contaminants out of your fuel system.

If you are getting irritated by the grinding noise under your Acura Legend vehicle, you better take a look at its axle. The Acura axle on your Acura is a load bearing part that connects the two wheel on the opposite sides together.

This sort of damage is common to vehicles that go off-road or regularly travel difficult roads. The axle assembly is a combination of an axle shaft, a CV (constant velocity) -joint or two and maybe a U-joint. It functions to transmit rotational force from the transmission to the wheels and is commonly found on front and 4-wheel drive vehicles, trucks, and high-end rear-wheel drive European imports.

The most well-known type of axle is the transaxle that usually encases a differential and a manual or automatic transmission. The drive axle is also a common type of axle that is put on vehicles. Also known as a live axle, the drive axle contains the differential. The least common type of axle is the non-driving straight axle that fades quickly from use. This type of axle does the job of linking the wheels together but it does not have a differential.

The axle is a significant structural part of a wheeled vehicle. It is responsible for maintaining the position of the wheels that is relative to the body of the vehicle and to each other. The Acura Legend Axle also carries the acceleration forces between the vehicle and the ground. If you find that the axles on your Acura are already malfunctioning and creating so much noise, you should have it replaced immediately.

When I first got the car home from Hawaii I noticed that the wheels, especially the fronts, were covered in a thin, dark film of some sort. I’d heard that Acura Legend brake pads were notorious for black deposits on the wheels, but I didn’t expect that only two days driving would be this bad. And after only a few more days driving my commute, I was looking at dark gray wheels, not the silver ones the car wore on delivery.

I guess I shouldn’t been surprised, since the rotor and caliper are sited very close to the open spokes of the hub. The Acura Legend dust shield amount to little more than aluminum pie plates with appropriate cut outs and holes to accommodate the lug bolts and hub, and sized to nestle nicely down inside the wheel rim.

Wheel Dust Shields are designed to keep the “dust” that is created each time brakes are applied from collecting on alloy wheels. Wheel Dust Shields help prevent the abrasion and corrosion that can occur when brake dust builds up on alloy wheels. Wheel Dust Shields do much more than simply keep your alloy wheels looking good.

Acura wasn’t a clone of Honda, but a move by the maker upmarket with more luxurious and, hopefully, more prestigious cars — a move made four years before Toyota opened its Lexus stores and Nissan began selling Infinity products. The Legend, on the other hand, was close to being unforgettable.

To 21st-century eyes, the original 1986 Legend is neither particularly large or particularly powerful.Back in the mid-’80s, it was pretty big and muscle-bound for a Japanese sedan.

The Legend coupe was mechanically similar to the sedan in its structure and layout but the suspension design incorporated trailing arms in the rear instead of struts. The two most apparent differences between the sedan and coupe were the coupe’s unique and slickly aerodynamic body and a 2.7-liter version of the SOHC 24-valve V6 rated at 161 horsepower. The Legend sedan would get the 2.7-liter engine for 1988 as airbags and antilock brakes became available across the range. Acura Legend catalytic converters, have come a long way since the power-sapping pellet-style catalysts of the mid-70s. Newer honeycomb catalytic converters allow relatively free flow through your car’s exhaust system while cleaning up nasty pollutants from your engine.

The Legend is magnificent, though rather plain in styling, its road manners qualify it to be called a true luxury sedan… Honda has a hit on its hands with the Legend.
